I am a shamanic practitioner who received
my training and initiation in January 2009 through
the Shamanic Healing Institute.
An ongoing process, this
shamanic training has been the
culmination of a lifelong commitment to helping others embrace the deepest and most authentic parts
of themselves.
By combining Andean,
cross-cultural, and Jewish shamanic healing techniques, I
help clients achieve maximum potential
for spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health.
Before embarking on the shamanic path,
I spent many
years as a reporter known for empathic interviews.
As a
teacher, I specialize in freeing children from
self-destructive roles (the dummy, the bully, the class
clown). In addition, I am a published
fiction writer who helps others realize their creative potential through shamanic
journeying and other healing techniques.
I am
a
member of the
Society for Shamanic Practitioners
and adhere to the
society's ethical codes
(See
The Principles of Integrity).
Currently, I'm in the
process of deepening my training by studying Jewish Shamanic
Healing. Many people don't realize this, but Judaism
has a long-standing indigenous shamanic tradition.
One of my strengths is
the ability to work with people from virtually all spiritual
traditions. I invite you to experience the
life-changing benefits of shamanic healing!

A Note About My Name

I was born Janet, but
have recently changed my name to Gabriella (full name:
Gabriella Janet Frances Gromfine King). In the Jewish
tradition, as in other traditions, a name is not just a
name, but a reflection of your truest essence -- who you
really are and who you wish to become. One of the
things I've long aspired to do is to balance living in the
spirit world with manifesting my dreams for myself and
others in this world. Gabriella or Gabriel (Gav'riella
or Gav'riel in Hebrew) is the angel on the Jewish medicine
wheel who stands for balance. His or her other
attributes include fighting for the weak and standing up for
truth. |
